Expertise France Administration

Who we are

Administrative procedures can be complex, and a formatting mistake, a wrong step, or a missing document can leave you feeling lost. This can jeopardise your situation and the outcome of your request after months of waiting.

For years, EFA Conseil has drawn on experts well versed in constantly evolving regulations and the high level of technical knowledge these procedures demand. Our goal is to turn a complex administrative journey into a clear, accessible one.

Building on our years of experience, we review your situation, check that your documents are valid, put your file together before submission, and follow up after it has been sent.

What we do, step by step

Our process

We take care of every step of your procedure. You are never alone with the paperwork.

1

A free initial contact

A first phone call or video call, free of charge, to understand your request and needs, discuss your situation together, and answer your initial questions.

2

Reviewing your situation

Only after a thorough review of your file do we decide whether or not to take on your case and support you.

3

Sending the document checklist

Once we've identified the right procedure, you receive the precise list of required documents, along with the relevant official forms (Cerfa).

4

Checking your documents

Careful review of every document you send us, whether by email or in person.

5

Preparing your file

Once your documents are checked and complete, we organise your file according to current regulatory requirements.

6

Submitting the file

The file is submitted in strict compliance with the relevant administration's process and the type of request.

7

Following up

Proof of submission is sent, then we provide regular follow-up until a decision is reached by the competent authority.

Important, always keep in mind: our commitment is a best-efforts commitment, not a guarantee of results.

FAQ

Is the first appointment free?

Yes. The first phone call or video call is completely free, with no commitment. It's a chance to get to know each other, understand your situation and check whether we can help you.

Do you handle the procedures on my behalf?

Yes. We carry out the entire procedure on your behalf once we've agreed together on what needs to be done. We support you at every step: preparation, review, building your file, submission and follow-up. Although we carry out the procedure in your name, it always remains at your initiative.

Do you operate throughout France?

Yes. We support procedures throughout France. Processes may vary from one prefecture to another: we adapt your file accordingly.

Do you book prefecture appointments on our behalf?

No. Our role is to help you prepare your file and follow the applicable procedure. On our side, we may also try to find an appointment slot, purely as an exceptional courtesy, but this remains your responsibility. We have no special access at the prefecture to obtain appointments.

What documents do I need to bring for our first appointment?

No specific document is required from you for the first conversation, unless you decide to go ahead with our support.

How long does support last?

Our support is not limited in time. We stay by your side for the entire duration of the procedure.

Can you help me even if my file is complicated?

It's precisely in these situations that our support makes the most sense and is the most useful. We analyse your file in detail and present you with the different possible courses of action. If your file does not allow us to find a solution, we will not offer our support.

What happens if the prefecture asks for additional documents?

We systematically respond to all questions or requests to complete the file, in order to avoid rejection or the file being closed without action.

Can I contact you after the file has been submitted?

Yes, of course. Our support continues even after submission, until the administration reaches a decision.

Do you guarantee that my file will be accepted?

No. Be wary of anyone who promises you that. The decision always belongs to the administration (prefecture, CAF, etc.). Our role is to prepare the best possible file to give you every chance on your side.

Can I come to your office, or is everything done remotely?

Yes. Because travelling is not always easy, we have set up this remote support for your comfort. Conversations take place by phone or video call, at your convenience. But if you feel it's important to meet us, and an in-person appointment would reassure you, we will be happy to welcome you at our offices.

I don't speak French, can you still help me?

Yes. The site is translated into 4 languages to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

Can you also help me obtain the RSA or CAF benefits?

Yes. We support you with all the procedures described above in the services section.

My residence permit expires soon, is it urgent?

Absolutely! Contact us quickly. It is essential to start your renewal before it expires, and in any case within the legal deadlines, to avoid losing your rights.

Can I send my documents by email?

Yes. It's actually the recommended and most convenient method.

Can I request a renewal once the permit has already expired?

The answer is yes, but under strict, limited conditions. The different options to consider for this situation can only be clarified after our appointment.

Do you work on weekends?

No. However, in certain very specific circumstances and situations of extreme urgency, it may happen that we do.

Does the personal information I share with you stay confidential?

Yes. All the information you share with us is strictly confidential. We only use it to prepare your file and never share it with anyone without your consent.

How much do your services cost?

Our fees are the same for everything related to residency status, naturalisation, DCEM, etc. For social benefit services, fees are set according to each individual request.

What is the difference between a residence permit and naturalisation?

A residence permit allows you to live in France for a limited, renewable period. Naturalisation means becoming a French citizen permanently. These are two completely different procedures.

What does DCEM mean?

DCEM stands for Document de Circulation pour Étrangers Mineurs (Travel Document for Foreign Minors). This document allows a foreign minor living in France to travel and return to French territory without difficulty. Please note that this procedure depends on your nationality.

What does DALO mean?

DALO stands for Droit Au Logement Opposable (Enforceable Right to Housing). It is a legal recourse for people who have been unable to obtain housing despite their efforts. If the application is eligible, the State is obliged to offer housing.

Am I entitled to MDPH support?

If you have a disability that makes certain daily activities difficult, you may be eligible for assistance from the MDPH. We will analyse your file and advise you on whether an application can be considered.

Together, let's build a solid file.

We review your situation before any service begins. Book your appointment today.
